Last week was a busy one that included a 350-person fundraising event, and a 200-person event at the ballpark for #schwarbersneighborhoodheroes. This is an applause post for teams: teams that know their roles and star in them. When individual team members (and, in our case, volunteers) play to their strengths and execute per plan, it’s beautiful, and feels seemingly low-effort. The result? Our client, Kyle Schwarber, spent Tuesday in the community saying thanks at the 3rd district police station in South Philly then hosted first responder families from Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation at the game that night. By now, the world knows the excitement of women’s basketball (which, by the way, was always there). What excites us most is the female stars of this year’s March Madness are building off-court legacies as well. Caitlin Clark (caitlinclarkfoundation.org) and Angel Reese (angelcreesefoundation.org) have their own foundations, and Paige Bueckers insists her NIL deals have a charity or community component are some examples.
