This was an exciting and busy week for FBA's SVP Kenneth Pratt who joined our partners at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, both Eric Wimbush, CFA® and ShaDonte Dozier-Butler, at this week's Statewide Affordable Housing Conference, sponsored by the Florida Housing Coalition in Orlando, FL. The group experienced many exciting panels and great participant conversations about how FBA and the FHLB can further partner with group attendees. A great and sold out conference of 1200 attendees! The FBA and the FHLB of Atlanta continue to prepare for the upcoming partnership for our own Affordable Housing Summit, to take place on November 14 and 15 at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. Wrapping up an incredible week at the FBA's 54th Annual School of Banking!   From August 4-10, 2024, the J. Wayne Reitz Union at the University of Florida in Gainesville was buzzing with future banking leaders. We're proud of all our students' accomplishments, but we'd like to highlight a few special achievements:   1. Congratulations to our graduating Senior Class! Honor Graduate Award Brooke Hand from First Federal Bank exemplified outstanding scholastic achievement, class participation, and overall contribution to the school and student body.
