That includes protecting the people responsible for providing—and seeking—government services wherever they may be: at work, at home, and on travel. #FPSDHS has developed a series of personal safety and security awareness materials, including tip and fact sheets, as part of our ongoing commitment to enable employees, customers, stakeholders, and the public to keep safe— #YourSafetyOurPriority. This initiative provides information on how you can remain vigilant and increase your personal safety in the office and outside of work. #YourSafetyOurPriority is part of #FPSDHS’s broader mission to enhance public safety through preventive measures and awareness. Through 2024 and the beginning of 2025, #FPSDHS will publish periodic messages providing actionable tips to help individuals stay safe and will focus on specific topics such as: Identifying and reporting bomb threats, preventing doxing, recognizing insider threats, and other critical topics. U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Protective Service is actively sharing essential information on bomb threat readiness and reporting, through the new #YourSafetyOurPriority campaign.   Download the full fact sheet and explore additional information at https://lnkd.in/gWm29tkW.   READINESS If you’re at work and receive a written bomb threat: • Handle the document as little as possible • Note date, time, and location the document was found • Secure the document and do not alter the item in any way • Notify your supervisor and organization leadership   REPORTING: Retain all information regarding the incident (such as usernames, email addresses, websites, phone numbers, or names of platforms, etc.) and report it to local law enforcement. Dial 911 immediately if a suspicious item is discovered or the threat is elevated.
