Yesterday, the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation, President & CEO Dora Westerlund, in collaboration with Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria and Erika Cabrera from Pacific Gas & Electric Company attended the rebuilding efforts of VFW post 8900 following the collapse of the facility roof last year. After delivering remarks, PG&E generously contributed $50,000 to further support the reconstruction efforts, upon the request of Assembly member Esmeralda Soria. This contribution aims to help restore a critical community space dedicated to serving our veterans. Representatives from the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation, including COO Yery Olivares, CAO Yurubi Ramirez, Community Service Manager David Preciado, Communications Manager Gabriel Monteiro, and Corporate Relations Director Jasmin Mejia, were honored to be part of this initiative, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to supporting veterans and strengthening the local community. . . El día de ayer, la Presidenta y Directora Ejecutiva de la Fundación Hispana del Área de Fresno, Dora Westerlund, en colaboración con la Asambleísta Esmeralda Soria y Erika Cabrera de Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) asistieron a VFW post 8900  tras el colapso del techo de sus instalaciones el año pasado. Después de pronunciar un discurso, PG&E contribuyó generosamente con $50.000 dólares para apoyar los esfuerzos de reconstrucción, a petición de la asambleísta Esmeralda Soria. Esta contribución tiene como objetivo ayudar a restaurar un espacio comunitario crítico dedicado a servir a nuestros veteranos. Representantes de la Fundación Hispana del Área de Fresno, incluyendo a la Directora de Operaciones, Yery Olivares, la Directora de Operaciones, Yurubi Ramírez, el Gerente de Servicios Comunitarios, David Preciado, el Gerente de Comunicaciones, Gabriel Monteiro, y la Directora de Relaciones Corporativas, Jasmin Mejía, se sintieron honrados de formar parte de esta iniciativa, reafirmando el compromiso de la organización de apoyar a los veteranos y fortalecer a la comunidad local.
