Meet Chris Suozzi! 🎉 🎉 As the Executive VP of Business & Workforce Development, I lead our efforts to grow and attract good jobs and connect our youth with the great careers available in Genesee County. My work includes using my corporate executive experience in business and relationship development to guide companies through site selection, permitting, and hiring, as well as my youth coaching experience to build collaborations for training, career experiences, and apprenticeship programs as “Coach SwazZ”. Outside of work, I am an avid member of Bills Mafia, a morning basketball player, and excited to be “Papa SwazZ” for my grandson Brooks as well as support my wife and family. My passion is workforce development through K-12 kids’ career exploration. I am the Co-Founder of the GLOW With Your Hands program, which has connected 5,000 students to manufacturing, skilled trades and healthcare careers since 2019, and Board President of the Genesee County Business Education Alliance, a speaker at workforce conferences, facilitator for Youth Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship programs, Soap Box Derbies and other innovative and cool career exploration events.
