We provide students with their first jobs and empower them to run their own branches. We fund grants to help small businesses thrive, award scholarships to students in need, and plant trees in the beautiful backyard we call the Pacific Northwest. We’re member-owned. We have no shareholders. We’re a not-for-profit credit union.
Our History
With the support of our members, we’ve gone from modest beginnings to everyday empowerment. It all started in a shoebox in 1953, where we grew from a part-time office to the second largest credit union in Washington state with a united team of people helping people, serving over 280,000 members in 31 locations.
