Summer’s here, and it’s time to relax and enjoy! Whether you’re planning a family road trip or flying off to new adventures, keeping your money safe is a must. Here’s how to travel with peace of mind: Before you go: Notify us of your travel plans: Log in to your STCU account and submit a travel notification. This prevents your card from being blocked when used in new locations. Watch for fraud alerts: If we spot suspicious activity, we’ll reach out via text, email, or call. Confirm the transaction to keep your card active. Enable card controls: Use our mobile app or online banking to set spending alerts and control how your card is used. Pack a backup payment: Bring an extra credit card or some cash, stored separately from your main card. Hold your mail: Request the Post Office to hold your mail or switch to online statements to keep personal info safe while you're away. While you’re traveling: Be cautious on social media: Avoid posting detailed vacation plans or personal info that scammers could use. Use secure Wi-Fi: Stay off sensitive sites when connected to public Wi-Fi to protect your personal data. Stay safe at ATMs: Check ATMs for anything unusual before using them, and shield your PIN from view. Monitor your accounts: Regularly check your account activity via STCU’s app or online banking to spot any unusual spending. This past weekend, STCU proudly participated in the Re*Imagine Medical Lake event, a heartfelt initiative celebrating the town and its ongoing revitalization after last year’s devastating wildfire. We were honored to be part of this event, standing alongside our community as we work towards rebuilding and strengthening Medical Lake. Our team enjoyed engaging with everyone from our booth and walking in the parade, embodying our commitment to community support and resilience.

At STCU, we believe in the power of saving from a young age. That’s why we created Fill 'er Up, a program that rewards our youth members (17 and under) for regularly depositing into their First5 Savings Account. How It works: Each month, we randomly select a Fill 'er Up winner. If chosen, we top off your First5 Savings Account to $500! For example, if you have $200, we’ll add $300 to reach $500. How to enter: Be 17 or younger and have a First5 Savings Account. Make at least one deposit of $1+ in the last 90 days. Submit a signed Fill 'er Up enrollment form. That’s it! Keep saving and stay eligible for our monthly drawings. ✨ Encourage your kids to save and watch their accounts grow with STCU’s Fill 'er Up program! Learn more: stcu.org/fillerup
