We love to see Particl in action. Awesome analysis, Maggie Sellers!
It’s been 6 months since Alo Yoga's parent company announced they were looking for capital at a $10B valuation. In my mind, this would have been a done deal, so I’m sitting here wondering why they haven’t announced a fundraise. I used data only available on Particl to break down the business of Alo to find out what's going on. https://lnkd.in/gYd8XNWc - The parent company did an estimated $1.6 billion in 2023 and they’re likely profitable. - Their growth has been explosive across eCommerce, ~75% YoY, and their sanctuaries, ~130% YoY, with a significant opportunity to expand. - They are a clearly positioned market leader and have cultivated a passionate community who are obsessed with the product that has extremely high sell-through. I'm a big believer that Alo hasn't even had their moment yet and this is a brand that will be here for the long haul. But I do think it's really interesting they haven't announced a fundraise. What do you think? Is there something I’m missing? #businessbreakdown #aloyoga #fundraising #venturecapital #startup #thebusinessoffashion

The power of Taylor Swift is unmatched. Taylor featured PopFlex’s skirt for just 3 seconds during her “For a Fortnight” challenge. The results? 👉🏻 every skirt sold out within 15 minutes after the post 👉🏻 back ordered for 15 weeks 👉🏻 over 10,000 units sold Check out this data I pulled from Particl. The graph from before the post and after the post is insane.

Thanks to Axios for featuring us in their new article!
Reporter at Axios, covering the financial activities of retail and CPG companies, including M&A, IPOs, PE, VC, activist investing, distressed situations and more.
Retail tech startup Particl unveiled a new product called AI Copilot that helps customers identify both new and mispriced products, its CEO Josh Wilson tells Axios. It's just one of the ways the company is assisting retailers and brands with managing products, including new launches, and inventory. It's also combining a large language model or LLM with generative AI to solve problems like product taxonomy that were previously difficult to solve. Learn about all that and what's next for the company by reading the article below.

We're excited to exclusively announce the launch of our most ambitious product yet, called "Copilot" in Axios Pro Retail. Thank you Richard Collings for sharing the scoop with your readers! "Retail tech startup Particl launched AI Copilot, a new product that helps customers identify both new and mispriced products, CEO Josh Wilson tells Axios. Why it matters: Retailers need sophisticated software to help them manage supply chains efficiently. How it works: The South Jordan, Utah-based company's product compares clients' data to competitors and produces a grade card assessing their performance, Wilson says. Particl follows hundreds of thousands of brands and uses that data to help companies with their product strategy, Wilson says. The platform helps retailers and brands with new product launches and benchmarks those products against competitors' offerings. It also anticipates when a product is nearing the end of its life cycle so that retailers don't make too large of an investment in inventory."
