At Ginkgo, we use biology to grow the future. Companies across industries leverage our platform to design, develop, and optimize products for a breadth of commercial applications. We help our partners grow key ingredients for vaccines, crops that rely less on fossil fuel-based fertilizers, plant-based meat that tastes like the real thing, materials for the next generation of circular fashion, and so much more. We know our unique experiences, ideas, and perspectives are essential to our success and enable us to make biology easier to engineer and ensure equitable distribution of the benefits of our platform. As such, we seek to ensure that DEI is in our DNA, continuing to grow an inclusive culture and diverse workforce. Let's make biology easier to engineer and join our team.

I co-wrote this technical review of AA-0, Ginkgo's first AI model release. It's an ESM2-like protein model trained with our in-house metagenomic sequence data. https://lnkd.in/eEAaCAfB Links in there to play with the model on our AI dev portal. You can register to get yourself some free inference credits. I joined Ginkgo to make biology more accessible - to lower costs and friction so more people can build more things with biology. So I'm loving this "opening up the foundry" era with expanded access to our data services, our automation, and now our AI models.

Jake's recent Foundry Theory video about Ginkgo's Reconfigurable Automation Carts (RACs) makes my heart sing! What Sartorius's ambr250 system did for the field of fermentation and cell culture process development, I believe the RACs will do for all other phases in the cell engineering project life cycle. Check it out! https://lnkd.in/e6zAjqz2

This week on Foundry Theory! What is it about biotech R&D that makes collaboration challenging? How can we make it easier? https://hubs.la/Q02NTygX0
