Every newborn at Lee Health receives a Sleep Sack, and our display cribs showcase the latest in safe sleep practices. This National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are excited to celebrate a special event at Golisano Children's Hospital! For the past five years, Riverdale High School has partnered with Barbara’s Friends to feature a young artist on their homecoming t-shirt. This year, Marison Bradley, a brave 15-year-old fighting both lymphoma and leukemia, was the honored artist. Although Marison couldn’t attend the school’s homecoming game, Riverdale High School brought the celebration to her with a heartwarming performance from the football team, cheerleaders, and band, outside Golisano Children's Hospital. The students proudly wore t-shirts featuring her design, and the school principal and coach personally presented her with one, along with their heartfelt support for both her and her family.
