My team at Momento discovered that with < 100 lines of Rust, we could improve the performance and reduce the cost of an AWS NodeJS Lambda by 10x! We're excited to share more in our training session at #QConSF! Come join Anita Ruangrotsakun and I as we walk through a hands-on demo illustrating how to: * Use a profiling tool to look for hotspots in the NodeJS code * Create a small Rust project that handles the expensive calls * Call the Rust code from NodeJS * Compare the performance and cost benefits with the original code While this training session will focus on NodeJS, the approach can be used in Python and many other languages as well!
