Meet Adam Loxley, Designer. Adam is a London-based designer hailing from Birmingham. He has been a designer for over 15 years both in agencies and freelance. After almost doing a degree in Physics he applied last minute to Edinburgh College of Art and then spent 3 years eating haggis and studying visual communication. Finishing his degree, he then headed to London, working in leading design agencies such as The Partners, Magpie Studio and Purpose as well as think tank The Imaginals where he was dubbed the ‘creative Swiss Army Knife’. During that time his interest in film was also sparked and he started writing, performing and directing as part of a comedy sketch group eventually moving into TV, Film and commercials in the UK and Europe. A multi-disciplinary creative at heart he likes learning new things and enjoys it when overlapping disciplines open up new opportunities to play. He’s created animations for music concerts, mechanics for board games as well as pitched TV shows and written and directed films. He’s created internal comms for NASA, strategy for global charities, played a singing pirate in a TV musical as well as co-written and performed a sell-out sketch show at the Edinburgh Festival. He enjoys skiing, yoga, films, playing nerdy board games and anything to do with food (cooking, eating, thinking about). Fun fact: He’s a very enthusiastic dancer and is terrible at Karaoke.
