Heard time and time again that supply chain, procurement, and sourcing teams are all increasingly responsible for some piece of sustainability at your company. Especially when thinking of engaging suppliers - their relationships are key to getting engagement. 2. Suppliers are getting overwhelmed with surveys, requests, frameworks etc. The term "survey fatigue" and "reporting hell" were thrown around a couple times. 3. Engaging with suppliers has to be a win-win. Incentivizing suppliers starts with - resources, rewards, and recognition - and being creative within those constraints so everyone feels like they're getting valued and are receiving value.
