For August’s project profile, we are highlighting our Middleborough Solar Project, a 1480 kW DC rooftop solar facility located in Middleborough, Massachusetts. This project, also known as Cranberry Solar, reached commercial operation in December 2016 and operates under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Middleborough Gas & Electric Department. Additionally, the project participates in Massachusetts' SREC II program, enabling the sale of renewable energy certificates. GSI is proud of the Middleborough Solar Project and its role in advancing our commitment to sustainable energy solutions to foster a more sustainable environment for future generations.

In July, we were able to share in the launch of the website for our Iyuhána Solar Project - iyuhanasolar.com. Now, we are excited to announce that the Iyuhána Solar social media accounts are live! Iyuhána Solar, a partnership with GSI Management Inc. and Ocean Man First Nation, will develop, construct, own, and operate the 100-megawatt solar facility in southeast Saskatchewan, supplying emissions-free power onto the SaskPower grid. As the Iyuhána Solar Project continues its progress through development and towards construction, we’re dedicated to continuing to keep the local community engaged and informed. These social media accounts will provide yet another platform to share Project specific updates and information related to key events, including the upcoming Community Open House in September (details to come!)
