I didn’t know I needed a cookie 🍪 sample I was sold on it A nice woman was walking around with free Ethiopian reserve blend coffee shots and cookies that “go very well with this coffee” I said no thank you as I’m doing low sugar and no caffeine in the afternoons. To which she replied, okay, I’ll just give you two cookies. She places them in front of me and I lasted about 30 seconds before I had to try them. Now some could say I lack impulse control or that I could have simply refused. I think what happened here was that she had a really good offer and I simply couldn’t refuse. Thinking about this for my job I’m going to look towards how I can do a better job preparing for calls, coming to our customers with an offer so good that they can’t say no.
