  • We kicked off the school year with an exciting Back to School Pep Rally, which included a book drive to replenish reading materials in the patient units. Juanita (pictured first) was the lucky winner of the gift card raffle for her generous book donation! To top it off, staff celebrated with a fun Pep Rally Pizza Party. It was a great way to get everyone energized and ready for the new school year!

  • Because recovery is a process that involves the entire body, it is most appropriately addressed through hospital-based care in our adult substance use program. Our inpatient detox program helps individuals begin the addiction recovery process, so they can continue treatment in a structured environment. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of a psychiatrist, nurses, therapists, and social workers. Your path into recovery can start with us at Gulfport Behavioral! • We recognized our September #EmployeeOfTheMonth, Stephen, on a Flamingo Friday. Stephen was nominated because he is a very caring and compassionate nurse. He is always smiling, and you never hear a complaint from him. The patients love him and always have nice things to say about him. We appreciate the special approach Stephen takes while taking care of our patients!
