“Keep your feet rooted in the field, where health happens, and let it inform your head, where it is designed.” In a rapidly changing healthcare landscape, where adaptability and localization is key, the most effective healthcare interventions emerge from a thorough understanding of the realities on the ground. In our latest edition of "GKII Alumni Spotlights," we are thrilled to feature Dr. Suruchi Gupta, a Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health graduate and Research Scientist on the Exemplars in Digital Health project. Suruchi focuses on integrating practical experience with innovative solutions to improve healthcare delivery. In this Q&A, we discuss the importance of understanding the socio-cultural dynamics in healthcare. Suruchi highlights that success in digital health isn’t just about introducing new technologies; it’s about creating user-friendly solutions that genuinely improve lives.
