The U.S.-India Business Council hosted Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (Department of Defence Production India,Ministry of Defence GoI), for a roundtable discussion at India Idea’s Summit in New Delhi. The roundtable affirmed that U.S.-India defense ties continue to have a strong foundation and that initiatives like #iCET and #INDUSX and new agreements like Security of Supply Arrangement (SOSA) can unlock new opportunities in co-production and co-development. Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) was also noted as key area for growth, and in which a lot of significant progress has been made.
