🔊 Haiqu and Quanscient join forces as finalists in the second phase of the Airbus-BMW Challenge 🔊 Haiqu develops enabling software for quantum computers. Quanscient develops quantum algorithms for computational fluid dynamics (CFD). What we have in common is that we both want to see value out of a quantum computer as soon as possible… and CFD simulations are one of the industry’s nearest-term bets. We will be combining our circuit execution approach with Quanscient’s algorithms to demonstrate breakthrough results. Welcome to the team Quanscient! We just released Rivet! An open-source quantum computing toolkit focused on transpilation. In our #QML research, we found that existing libraries do not allow for fast, controlled, and noise-aware transpilation of parametrized circuits. We developed Rivet internally to minimize the time and money spent on high-volume, high-quality transpilation. We made it open-source to make others’ research a little more efficient. A haiku: Transpilation time Watching my life slip away With Rivet, no more

Great news - Haiqu is one of three finalists in the Quantum Solvers section of the Airbus-BMW Quantum Computing Challenge! We are excited to work alongside BMW Group and Airbus in the next phase of the challenge. In our submission, we applied our circuit execution technology to several use cases which should be relevant in the near term... provided you can handle the circuit depth. With Haiqu, deep circuits are not a problem. The submissions were evaluated by a jury of experts from Airbus, BMW Group, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and researchers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The University of Edinburgh, Max Planck Institute, and others. There were 400+ registrants and 100+ detailed submissions to the Challenge.

The application of Machine Learning to push forward numerical methods in Physics is in the focus of research at Haiqu. We are excited to see 3 papers of our Principal Scientist Maciej Koch-Janusz presented this year at a #neurips2023 conference within the "ML and Physical Sciences" workshop.
Three of our works combining information theory and ML and applying them to dynamical systems theory (https://lnkd.in/eH9N8MCf), quasicrystals (https://lnkd.in/euxRAEpZ) and lattice field theories (https://lnkd.in/eD4dwPQy) got accepted to the "ML and the Physical Sciences" workshop at #neurips2023 If you're in New Orleans this week be sure to visit the posters of the PhD students Matthew Schmitt, Doruk Efe Gökmen and Lior Oppenheim who led these projects.
