As a nurse myself, I was truly impressed by how she cared for my aunt. She never stopped fighting and advocating to get her the care she needed. For example, she worked to bring my aunt home to spend her last moments with her family. When we were unable to arrange ambulance transport, Martha fought harder than I have ever seen to accomplish this. I can honestly say that without Martha, end-of-life for my aunt would have occurred alone in a clinical place instead of at home surrounded by family. I will never forget the compassion Martha showed me and my family during that most difficult time. I will forever be grateful to her."
