Are you involved in trenching work and underground projects? Contractor Academy is offering a new course, "Trench & Excavation: Competent Person Training," on OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P, which states that every excavation must have a designated Competent Person to manage the safety aspects of the site. This course will be offered three times— Sept 6, Oct. 4 and Nov. 8. Courses will be held at United Rentals from 8 am – 12 pm. Thanks to Contractor Academy, United Rentals, Construction Education Foundation of Colorado and Iron Woman Construction & Environmental Services, the training will be discounted to $50 (regularly $180!).
