The United States' mental and behavioral health crisis calls for clear and actionable standards to ensure organizations across the health care ecosystem are enabling high-quality, accessible care. In response, leading executives in Health Evolution’s Roundtable on Innovations in Mental and Behavioral Health developed a transformative framework to instill accountability in mental and behavioral health care. This comprehensive tool outlines core principles and provides practical example questions, measures, and activities to help organizations assess and enhance their mental and behavioral health care practices.     By using this framework, institutions throughout the industry—including provider, payer, life sciences, and technology organizations—can pinpoint gaps, drive systemic change, and promote equity in care delivery. It’s designed to spark important conversations, foster collaboration, and guide leaders in developing effective strategies for improving mental and behavioral health outcomes.    Discover how this framework can elevate your organization’s approach to mental and behavioral health care https://lnkd.in/gkZiYY-D

Chronic diseases pose an acute and growing challenge for the United States’ health care system. Chronic diseases are among the leading causes of disability and death in the United States, and they drive much of the country’s annual health care costs. While chronic diseases can affect all Americans, data show disparities between rates of chronic conditions among different demographic groups. To help address this intensifying problem, supporters of Health Evolution’s Health Equity Pledge, which was developed by our Roundtable on Data-Driven Health Equity Strategies, recently convened to discuss strategies for preventing and optimizing care for chronic conditions, with a particular focus on identifying and combating disparities in chronic disease care. Roundtable Co-Chair Kelli Tice, MD, VP of Medical Affairs and Chief Health Equity Officer at GuideWell & Florida Blue; Mark Gwynne, DO, President of UNC Health Alliance; and Mike Uchrin, CEO & Co-Founder at Monogram Health, shared how health care organizations can lead in this space.
