We’re proud to share that three of our hospitals have earned national recognition from the Chartis Center for Rural Health. Olivia Hospital & Clinic and Westfields Hospital & Clinic were recently named Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals for 2025, and Hutchinson Health is among this year’s Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals. Chartis determines these lists by assessing various factors that impact hospital operations and outcomes, including quality, patient experience and financial results. This year’s awards speak to the hard work and compassion of our care teams, as well as their consistency. Westfields is celebrating its 10th consecutive Top 100 recognition, and Hutchinson has extended its win streak to four years. We’re so proud of our award-winning teams and the work they do each day to improve the health and well-being of our patients and communities.

HealthPartners researchers are helping people make informed decisions when it comes to their health. HealthPartners Institute contributed data for two reports in the CDC’s latest Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. These reports present interim findings on flu and COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness for the 2024–2025 season. Using data from October 2024 through February 2025, flu vaccines reduced the risk of flu-related outpatient visits and hospitalizations for both adults and children. Additionally, the 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccine provided protection against emergency department and urgent care visits, as well as hospitalizations among adults using data from September 2024 through January 2025. These data support recommendations for all individuals over six months of age to receive both the flu and COVID-19 vaccines. For the complete report, visit: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr

Andi Hillestad is known for her problem-solving skills, compassion, and creativity. Andi is a nurse on the neuroscience floor of Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital. She didn’t plan on becoming a nurse, but it turned out to be the perfect fit for her. “Every day you encounter people with specific problems and needs and you have to figure out how to fix them," she says. "Nursing captures those facets of my personality.” Andi cares deeply about both her patients and colleagues. She brings homemade gifts and food to patients, doing whatever she can to brighten their day. And for her colleagues, she helps organize celebrations like Losar, the Tibetan New Year. She also celebrates their milestones and offers support during tough times, earning her the title of "unit mom." Andi is a partner for good, but emphasizes that her success is rooted in the strength of her team. “We do scary stuff together, and I think that environment causes people to have intensely strong bonds with each other,” she says. “They’re so smart and caring, and they have such a commitment to providing quality care for people who need help.”
