At HealthPartners, we’re always looking for ways to end the stigma surrounding mental health and illnesses. By integrating new programs and attending community events, we aim to change attitudes about mental health and promote well-being for everyone. Our recent work to improve mental health care access includes: • We are incorporating a new rapid access model to provide short-term interventions, ensuring patients receive timely care. • We offer the Crisis Immediate Assessment program, which allows clinicians to request immediate support from a behavioral health consultant for patients experiencing a mental health crisis. • Participating in #NAMIWalks (pictured) to encourage open discussion of mental illness, raise money for future advocacy work and learn where our colleagues and community members find joy. Today is World Mental Health Day. Let’s Make It OK to talk about mental health and illnesses so everyone feels safe and empowered to get the support and care they deserve.

"The future is hybrid." Those are the words of Mark Hansberry, our Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, discussing our approach to hybrid care. At HealthPartners, we're transforming health care with our hybrid care option, blending virtual and in-person care to make health care simpler, more affordable and more accessible. Mark will join other health care leaders on a panel hosted by the Business Advancement Center for Health (BACH) to discuss industry trends, innovative projects, and sector challenges and opportunities. Earlier this week, our President and CEO, Andrea Walsh, and SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa president, Jamie Gulley, made their annual vaccination visit to our HealthPartners Como Clinic. The two schedule their annual vaccinations together to highlight our shared commitment to community health. They each stressed that getting the COVID and flu vaccines, which you can easily do at the same time, is the most effective way to limit the spread of illness, protecting the your own health and the health of those around you.
