Next week on November 12 is our 10th official $100K pitch competition for women-led tech startups in Atlanta. This event feels more personal than ever. For starters, I was born just about 20 minutes away from the Google office where we’ll be hosting and will have my mom & local 91-year-old grandma in the audience (4 generations pictured!) I am proud & excited to show them what "changing the narrative for women-led tech startups" looks like in action. HearstLab has been dedicated to this mission and backed by 135+ yo global data, information, & media leader Hearst since 2016. We believe (and know) that investing & supporting a more diverse business ecosystem is good for the economy and the world. In aggregate, the 70+ companies in our portfolio are currently valued at over $2.5 billion. I could not be more motivated by our team, Scouts, CEOs, fellow like-minded investors, community partners and what we are building for our collective future. Keep putting in the work. Keep showing up. See you there. (We have a few in-person seats remaining and a virtual option available: https://lnkd.in/eQAVfhhz)

Portfolio company Rock Paper Coin is changing the event planning game 💪✨ Congrats to Elizabeth Sheils, Nora Sheils, and the entire Rock Paper Coin team on this incredible stat — showing a compelling alignment between their client management platform and market needs. "Rock Paper Coin isn’t about unnecessary bells and whistles; it’s about providing solutions that empower our users to work more efficiently, close deals faster, and improve their bottom line.” #FemaleFounders #WomeninTech
A statistic that surprised even us while looking at the data—it's one thing to believe in your product, but when the numbers show that others do too, that’s when you know you're onto something! It’s true—55% of our new customers are coming to us from well-known, large software companies. Even more exciting, 70% of our onboarding customers are joining through a colleague’s referral. These numbers speak volumes about the trust our customers have in us and the value we’re delivering. A big thank you to our customers for spreading the word and believing in what we’re building together!

✨Spotted in ELLE✨ Incredibly proud to see HearstLab International Director Azahara García Espejo featured in the November issue of ELLE Magazine alongside a stellar list of entrepreneurs, executives, investors and more! Congrats, Aza 🙌!
