HAFIS - Helmholtz Academy for Intrapreneurship
Professional Training and Coaching
With HAFIS, we support researchers in identifying and seizing opportunities to put their research into practice.
About us
HAFIS - Helmholtz Academy for Intrapreneurship is a Helmholtz Transfer Academy and is jointly designed and implemented by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung in Darmstadt and Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf. We want researchers to identify and seize opportunities to bring their research into practice. So more outstanding research results find their way into society and the economy. In our cross-center program, participants work with coaches on their own project, gain methodological knowledge, establish a team, and benefit from exchanges with experts from society and industry. The researchers will develop their own project and broaden their perspective on the possibilities of making an impact with research. Through collaboration with various Helmholtz centers and their partner organizations, the research topics become visible beyond the scientific community. But most importantly, during the program, every participant will already achieve first prototypical results.
