In a young industry like #CleanHydrogen — where most solutions haven't reached commercial scale — a company's website is a critical touchpoint for potential investors and customers. The right web presence can build credibility, tell a clear and compelling technology story, and show momentum in the market. That's why last year Aurora Hydrogen partnered with INK for a website redesign that communicates maturity and market potential while answering the all-important question: "Why Aurora?" With strategic messaging, a distinct visual identity, and technical upgrades, we helped position Aurora as a valuable partner for hard-to-decarbonize sectors. Top engineering advisors. Cutting-edge tech solutions. Innovative partnerships. Insights for a competitive edge. Last week, Electric Power Engineers’ Marketing & Communications team gathered at our Austin headquarters for two days of strategizing, creative idea-sharing and enjoying time together. As clean energy industries keep breaking growth records, our company has reached an inflection point – exponential growth, year-over-year. With trend lines pointing upward, this was the perfect time to lean forward into our future vision. Our talented staff, agencies and expert consultants collaborated to tackle how to ensure EPE’s fast-evolving client service solutions and software innovations are reaching stakeholders who depend on us – developers, utilities, diverse public and private sector partners – all investors in a successful energy transition. Chief Operating Officer Stephanie Badr shared the inspiring story of how far EPE has come since we were founded in 1968, achieving explosive growth in recent years as the energy transition accelerates. Business unit leaders Kalyan C., EVP of Energy Resources, Tamer Rousan, EVP of Utilities and Sultan Ennab, Head of Software Products, AI & Services brought the energy and goals for marketing ideation. Chief People Officer Dana Smola, PHR, SHRM-CP highlighted EPE’s uniquely inclusive, empowering culture and goal to bring many more talented professionals on board as our global company continues extraordinary growth. As our CEO Hala Ballouz says, at EPE, we work as one team – and that is why we succeed. Special thanks to Vice President of Marketing & Communications Todd Frank and Chief Growth Officer Hugo E Mena, P.E. for hosting the Marketing Summit and Joshua Slaughterback for superb facilitation. INKers Caitlin New, APR (VP, Comms), Kersa Haughey (Director, Business Development), and Hallie Criste (Manager, Comms) were spotted at InsureTech Connect. They supported our clients, connected with insurtech professionals to share their expertise, and gathered new insights on this ever-evolving industry. Check out their #ITCVegas experience! 👇
That's a wrap on #ITCVegas2024. I've helped prepare for no less than 6 or 7 of them, but this is the first year I've actually set foot on InsureTech Connect soil. I got to see some clients' actual faces outside of digital boxes, which must be repeated ASAP. Benjamin Offringa, Carly Owens, Cody Gillund, Carly Simon-Gersuk, Morgan (Grevey) Dick, Nate Bethell, Scot Barton it was wonderful seeing you all + more with my INKers Kersa Haughey and Hallie Criste! If I could summarize the ITC chatter in one (long) sentence it would be: Insurers are eager to get back into the tech game ($$) and here's what they want: no big disruptions; data but beyond that, something that helps them DO something about the data; to learn from data up, down and across departments; and above all else -- to improve how they're pricing, managing risks and handling claims because we know we've got to change with the risky world. I'm just excited I get to work with clients that get to tackle those needs with really cool technology. 🙌 🚀
