It's also Sensory Processing Awareness Month! Everyone experiences the world differently. At least one in twenty people may be affected by Sensory Processing Disorder. So this month, we're raising awareness and embracing all the beautifully unique ways people interpret and interact with their surroundings. Let’s spread understanding and support for creating sensory-friendly environments for all!

Celebrating 60 years of whatever it takes. Day in and day out, we help people overcome.
About us
WHO WE ARE: Hope Network is a non-profit organization operating across the state of Michigan. We have 240 locations and serve over 34,000 people with disabilities or disadvantages each and every year. WHAT WE DO: We help people overcome physical, mental or social barriers that impact how they live. The result is fulfillment through independence, progress, and community integration. Whether it’s… …a dad recovering from a brain injury …a child growing up with autism …an ex-offender trying to re-enter society …a teenager battling depression We have countless stories of restoration to tell. HOW WE DO IT: For over 60 years, we’ve provided neuro rehabilitation, behavioral healthcare, developmental support services, autism services, community support, and more. We do this because we believe every person was created to live life to the fullest – no matter their age, no matter their background, no matter what’s holding them back. WHY IT MATTERS: 60 million people in the U.S. suffer from disabilities or disadvantages that impact how they live. Over one million of these people live in Michigan. To put it into perspective, that’s more than the population of Detroit. A majority have fallen through the cracks and aren’t receiving the care they deserve. That’s a problem – but we’re solving it by being advocates for these people. hopenetwork.org | 800.695.7273

We are so saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Patty Kasbohm, who served for over 13 years as our Director of Operations for Community Engagement. A beacon of compassion and leadership, she poured her whole heart into her work and loved each of the clients she served as if they were her own family. Patty leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and an unwavering belief in the potential of others. She will be so very missed. ❤️ You can read her obituary here: https://lnkd.in/eXUsRQwu

October is a lot of things. And one of them, is Down Syndrome Awareness Month! So what does that mean? It means that this month, we take special care to celebrate the abilities, strengths, and individuality of those with Down Syndrome. It’s a time to promote inclusion, break down misconceptions, and amplify voices. And together, we can create a world where everyone feels valued for being exactly who they are. 💙💛 Do you know or love someone with Down Syndrome? We'd love to hear all about them. Share about them here! #DownSyndromeAwarenessMonth #CelebrateInclusion
