No one recognized clubfoot when Bike gave birth to her baby boy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It took Bike several weeks before she even noticed something was wrong with her child's feet. She was prepared to spend nearly $300 for a traditional healer who said he would help the child with a few massages. Bike even started collecting the money. But while she was doing that, the child came down with a high fever requiring Bike to take him to a local hospital where clinicians with basic clubfoot knowledge properly diagnosed the child and referred Bike to a Hope Walks partner clinic. When the staff heard the story and how a fever may have prevented a lifetime of disability, the staff all said, "Praise the Lord!" 👏🙌 #GodisGood #Praises #Clubfootistreatable
