We are so happy to announce our recent Core Values Award winner: Tara-Marie Fuller! This is a monthly, peer-voted award granted to Host Healthcare team members who embody our core values. This month's award focused on our core value pillar of personal accountability: we take ownership of our outcomes, admit when we are wrong, and learn from our mistakes. Tara-Marie is a Credentialing Specialist at Host Healthcare and received a glowing nomination from her peers, "Tara-Marie is amazing to work with. She communicates every day and whenever there is an update. She has been such a positive, productive, and overall excellent team member. She explains everything quickly and clearly; deadlines, asking for help, reaching out to Account Managers, and sending multiple options to make things easier. She resembles all of Host's core values."

Yesterday, Host Healthcare's Black Excellence Team hosted a Virtual Paint & Sip with Martin Nance, the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at the Minnesota Vikings, to celebrate Juneteenth. He spoke on some of his favorite Black leaders, the importance of entering spaces Black communities have not been before, gave advice on “being where your feet are” and taking in the current moment, and the impact of Juneteenth and what it means to be free. Thank you, Martin, for a great event and for continuing to educate our team on the importance and impact of #Juneteenth.

Join us in congratulating Chanel Georges on her new role leading Host Healthcare as Executive Vice President! Chanel's journey with Host began nearly a decade ago as a Recruitment Specialist. Over the years, she displayed exceptional dedication and aptitude, swiftly transitioning to roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, Chanel served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations, where her operational acumen played a pivotal role in driving Host Healthcare's success. In assuming the role of Executive Vice President, Chanel is poised to take on the day-to-day leadership responsibilities of Host Healthcare. Her close collaboration with Adam Francis, the founder and outgoing leader, over the past eight years has prepared her well for this momentous role transition. Adam Francis will be transitioning from his current role as founder and President of Host Healthcare to a board role with Host Healthcare's parent company, Medical Solutions. Chanel's story underscores Host Healthcare's philosophy of investing in its people, culture, and promoting from within. As Executive Vice President, she will continue to embody Host Healthcare's values, as she has done for the last eight years, team strength, personal accountability, lead with integrity, driven by excellence, embrace positivity, and a commitment to mastering our craft. Host Healthcare is proud to be a female-led organization, truly reflecting those we aim to serve, as over 80% of nurses in the U.S. identify as women.
