Great to see Celinda Lake of Lake Research Partners highlighting national research that we conducted together in Minnesota, Tulsa, Omaha, and Nebraska. Voters overwhelmingly support common sense solutions to homelessness, not encampment sweeps. https://lnkd.in/g8jfDJMY

Our fantastic Narrative Strategist Grover has also been traveling this week to attend the Preble Street 2024 Conference on Homelessness. We're feeling so inspired to be part of these powerful conversations that are happening around the country with partners working to solve homelessness.
It’s great to be in a room full of leaders working to solve homelessness in Maine today with Preble Street 2024 Conference on Homelessness in Portland, ME. I heard about a logical and sustained Housing First funding strategy that just passed in the Maine legislature, the success of bringing 160+ people from streets into homes over 100 days in Dallas, TX, the success of leaders who are focused on getting *stuff done and more. I shared some of my story and recommendations to reach more people with Housing Narrative Lab’s 2024 narrative message guidance. Someday everyone will have a home and we will have different jobs. Onward.

We're here at #Comnet24 connecting with some wonderful colleagues - Ann Searight Christiano of the Center for Public Interest Communications and Trabian Shorters with BMe Community! And sharing a bonus picture of some signage we loved. So good to be with our people who really get us 💬 🤓

Going to #Comnet24? Be sure to find us at the poster sessions Thursday and Friday mornings. We'll be sharing a narrative change map and more. Here's a sneak peek of what you'll see ... 💭

It was joy to convene with United to End Homelessness, Orange County United Way, LEA, and 40 organizations working to solve homelessness in Orange County. Thank you all for your steadfast commitment to this work, and for spending these two days with us to learn more about how narrative change can lead to solutions for homelessness!

We loved this recent story from Big Issue highlighting photography done by people experiencing homelessness and housing instability. At the end of the day, we all like to photograph similar things - wildlife, colorful scenes, and iconic monuments. And at the end of the day, we all need a safe place to sleep.
