AI Sales Roleplay Platform to Identify & Close Your GTM Team's Skill Gaps. Simulate Cold, Warm, Discovery, Success Calls

About us

Hyperbound is a simulated AI Sales Roleplay platform that turns ICP descriptions into interactive AI buyers in less than 2 minutes. It helps your sales team onboard 50% faster and boosts your team's conversions on cold, warm, & discovery calls. Every sales team wants to do more roleplays, but it's often unscalable and biased. Instead of having your sellers practice on real prospects and burn leads in the process, Hyperbound allows your reps to get realistic at-bats with an AI buyer. Sellers can finally gain call confidence and mastery in a simulated environment that doesn't put your pipeline at risk and gives time back to your managers.  Interested in trying it out today? The sales world has changed a lot over the past few years. Did you know salespeople are taking almost 3.2 times more meetings now than before COVID? Wild, right? Everyone’s hustling, going from one call to the next, and packing their calendars. But here’s the thing: are they focusing on the right things? We’ve seen that it’s not just about how many calls you’re taking; it’s about what you’re doing in those calls. That’s why we’re all about giving teams the tools to nail their discovery calls, practice real scenarios, and find out where they need to level up. Hyperbound scorecards break down every single aspect of every single role play - from rapport building to handling objections to properly pitching to the close. Because practice only makes perfect if you know what you need to work on. But very few managers have the time to always go back and review every real call. That’s where real-time help comes in handy. If you’re looking for something to help you out in the moment, check out Spiky.AI. Their Real-Time AI Assistant, dropping on November 11th, helps make sure you’re doing all the right things during your calls. Think perfect playbook adherence, better discovery questions, and more wins.

🌟 What’s Good Wednesday: The Disco Call Intro 🌟 Elite sellers run their calls. Average sellers get run around in their calls. The first two minutes of a discovery call can set the tone for the rest of the deal. But what does “good” look like in those first two minutes? ⏰ Showing Up on Time ⏰ When you show up early - not just on time - you’re ready to lead. No scrambling, no apologizing. You start off on a foot that tells the buyer you’re prepared and respectful of their time. 👥 Know all Attendees 👥 On calls with multiple stakeholders, call out each attendee by name and role. Asking each individual to introduce themselves takes time and makes you seem uninformed. Prove you’ve done your homework. 🧠 Be Knowledgeable 🧠 There’s no such thing as a professional buyer. But it’s your job to be a professional seller. The burden is on you to bring knowledge and the right tone to calls. ❗Make Statements, Not Asks ❗ Set the direction. Rather than asking, “Does that makes sense?” or “Is that okay?”, lead with confidence. If you can master the first two minutes of a call, you’re already ahead. If you have any “what’s good” tips for the start of a discovery call, let’s hear them!

The #HyperHeartRateChallenge struck again at the #ProveIt Conference a few weeks ago! We set up our challenge table, and let’s just say a few brave souls couldn’t resist putting their skills to the test against the bot. Sriharsha even jumped in for a round, showing us what it’s like to go head-to-head with AI under real pressure. In the upcoming weeks, we'll be sharing more clips of our #ProveIt contestants taking on the bot and pushing their limits. For now, here’s a quick look at Sai taking on the challenge himself! 📞

Happy Birthday to our co-founder, Atul Raghunathan!!! You rock 🤘

CEO at Hyperbound (YC S23) | Building AI Sales Roleplay Simulations to upskill GTM teams

Happy Birthday Atul Raghunathan 🎉 I just wanted to take a second to describe how lucky I am to be working with Atul on Hyperbound, because he is the most phenomenal person period I have ever worked with. I first met Atul in high school, 10 years ago as a freshman in high school, but when we really got close was in choir class in 2017. He was the quiet kid in class, always calm, collected, but always scheming. But anytime he would say something, it would teach you something you probably never knew and his endless curiosity was always breathtaking to watch. I still call him our "internal encyclopedia" because he just seems to know everything and anything you throw at him in utter detail. I always knew he was a hard worker and a workaholic 🤫, but I definitely did not know the extent until we started Hyperbound. When I reached out to him last year to start Hyperbound, he was working on the Meta Ads team as a machine learning engineer, when I texted him out of the blue. I asked "I was just wondering if you’d be interested at all in potentially working together on something. I’ve been thinking and our skill sets complement pretty well" He texted me back within 3 seconds, with "Yeah, I'd be down for sure" (our texts from last April are in the screenshot below) I was shocked! "You do realize you'd have to quit your job at Meta and do this full-time and you'd be dedicating the next few years on this" "Yea, so what??" was his response. That's how I knew Atul was going to be a killer co-founder. Since then, sometimes, I just sit in awe watching how he structures his thoughts and how he manages to stay up until 3 AM and wake up at 6 AM on some days, still on top of his game. How he manages to be so eloquent on calls and gives off a level of silent confidence that doesn't go unheard even over a Zoom call. How he seems to know how tax code works at the back of hand. How committed he is to not just being a technical founder, but selling and marketing every day. How much time he spends organizing everything we do so everyone's on the same page. How much confidence he instills in me that we will figure it out at every stage. How he gave me the confidence that the pivot was the right thing to do last December. How he keeps me on my toes, so I'm on time to things. And for one second, I never take him for granted, because I live with him and I see the amount of time and effort he puts into everything he does to be meticulous. I respect him both as one of my closest friends, but also the best business partner I could ask for. Happy Birthday again man, we're just getting started here! Love you brother ❤️

B2B buying behavior is constantly changing. Here’s what today’s sellers need to know: 🔹 More Stakeholders, Longer Cycles Over 59% of buyers report three or more stakeholders involved in purchasing decisions, with 24% managing input from seven or more. And, for 55% of buyers, purchase cycles are longer than a year ago. 🔹 Buyers Prefer Self-Service 75% of buyers gather information on their own, with 57% even purchasing tools without speaking to a sales team. 🔹 Multi-Channel Engagement Buyers now engage across an average of 10 interaction channels—double what it was in 2016. What does this mean for sales teams? 🔹 Personalized Skill Development is Essential Generic training won’t cut it in a landscape where buyers expect tailored interactions. Sellers need tools that reflect real buyer challenges to build the skills that foster authentic, personalized connections. 🔹 Practice Navigating Complex Buyer Journeys Today’s buying process is multi-layered, with multiple stakeholders and lengthier cycles. Hyperbound’s realistic role plays enable sellers to practice handling these complexities, so they’re prepared to guide buyers confidently. 🔹 Data-Driven Adjustments Are Key Understanding and adapting to changing buyer behaviors is essential. Sales teams can use Hyperbound’s insights to see which approaches work best in different scenarios, allowing them to iterate and improve continuously. The B2B landscape may be changing, but sellers who adapt will continue to thrive. 🌱

🚫 Myth: only newbies need to practice and do role plays 🚫 Imagine a seasoned AE is gearing up for the biggest deal of their career. They’ve done this hundreds - maybe thousands - of times, but this call is different. It’s a chance to break records, but also a chance to fumble if the stakes get too high. Would they leave it to chance? No way. They fire up Hyperbound, create a call scenario so realistic it mirrors the exact objections, tone, and stakes they’re about to face. They rehearse each question, anticipate objections, and refine every response until it feels second nature. This isn’t just for practice; it’s about building confidence and resilience. At Hyperbound, we believe that everyone - a first-time SDR or President's Club-level AE - deserves the right tools to walk into any call, fully prepared. So, let’s bust that myth once and for all: Practice isn’t just for beginners. It’s for winners.

Team work makes the dream work. Every single member of the Hyperbound team contributed to getting this deal done 🤝 Closing a two-year, $300K deal wasn’t just one person's effort. It was an all-hands-on-deck mission, from marketing to sales to engineering to customer success. Grateful for the unstoppable Hyperbound team that keeps proving what’s possible when we work together!

🚀 Here’s how we closed a two-year 300k deal last week—and what this means for us going forward: 5 new open roles at Hyperbound!!! At the start of the year, 🏒 Don Otvos set a bold target for us -- grow Hyperbound from $0 to closing $300K+ per month in just 10 months. Sriharsha Guduguntla and I weren’t entirely sure about hitting that mark—but here we are, right on track and already thinking about raising the bar for next year! In just 10 months, we’ve gone from Conversational AI Engineers to sellers, closing $150K enterprise deals, processing mid-cycle renewals, and managing over $3M in pipeline. These huge deals don't happen on it's own though, this had me reflecting on how every single member of the Hyperbound rallied together to make this sales cycle happen from the top of funnel, all the way down to our engineers and our other customers. Mia Kosoglow's content is what brought this customer in! Sriharsha Guduguntla and ☠️ Belal Batrawy ran stellar discovery! Jonathan Tran setup incredible analytics dashboards and made hundreds of tweaks to our conversational AI models to build the most magical experience! Luca Rondanini, our first employee ever, single handedly built an incredible analytics experience that this customer loved, and rushed to the finish line to get out an incredible feature to help this customer look through thousands of minutes of calls diagnose deep skill gap issues in their team. Eugene Reuka led the refresh of the UI that wrapped up right before this customer onboarded to their pilot! Siddharth Venu built last minute features to gamify the pilot experience and make it even more enjoyable! kelsey calabro helped everyone onboard, and took care of all our customer's reps as they navigated AI roleplays for the first time! It takes a village to build a new category, and the amazing Hyperbound team is doing just that. Could not be any more grateful for these folks.

Cofounders who bicker together, stick together 👴 If you've ever seen Sriharsha and Atul in a serious brainstorming session, you know that disagreements are part of the process. But they’ve learned how to turn those disagreements into something productive. Here’s their take on avoiding negative conflict: 🤝 Share a Common Goal 🤝 Sai and Atul are both pushing towards the same finish line. Despite disagreements, they know the intentions behind each other's decisions are aligned. It’s not about winning the argument - it’s about figuring out how Hyperbound can win. 💪 Know Each Other's Strengths 💪 They’ve learned when to step back and let the other take the lead. It’s all about playing to each other's strengths to keep moving forward. Sai and Atul's previous experiences come together to form a strong unified front. Letting each other speak to their experiences, leads to the best outcome. 🫡 Have Genuine Respect for Each Other 🫡 They might argue like an old married couple, but at the end of the day, the respect is what keeps them working together. It’s the reason they can have tough conversations without things going sideways. Believe it or not, Sai and Atul have known each other since they were kids. That's a bond you can't recreate synthetically. So if you've ever seen Sai and Atul in a serious brainstorming session, you can clearly see the love behind all of their decisions. 👉 And if you want to hear how this dynamic duo turned all that energy into building Hyperbound, check out Sai’s post from yesterday - link in the comments!
