It’s Forklift Friday! Today we are proud to feature Mireya Bazaldua, Purchasing Clerk. Mireya works in our Ramos, Mexico location and has been with Hyster-Yale for a year and a half, starting out as an intern. What do you do in your position? - I specialize in the purchase of indirect materials, such as maintenance spare parts, tools and screws, as well as dealing with suppliers and negotiating prices. What do you like about HYMH? - I like that there is always something new to do and learn. I like the activities for integrating new employees and for recreation, as well as the development opportunities they offer. What advice would you give to others? - Always have a lot of patience and a positive attitude. What is something you’re proud of so far? - I am proud of my growth in the company. I started as an intern. After eight months, I was hired into a warehouse role, and five months later I moved into my current role.
