  • 📢 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙖'𝙨 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 VP of Governmental Affairs Sam Charron testified in support of SB 463, specifically of the extension of the employer child care expenditure tax credit through July 1, 2027. The IMA was directly involved in the drafting of this tax credit two years ago when it was included in 2024-2025 State Budget! 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒙 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕:   🧒Provides an incentive to #employers that are interested in increasing #childcare capacity in their communities and investing in providing childcare for their #employees 👷Enables more parents to participate in the workforce through #accessible and #affordable childcare
