The Institute of Coaching is excited to announce our upcoming CoachX Conversation with Amii Barnard-Bahn on August 21st at 12:00pm EST. Amii will be interviewed by IOC Executive Director, Jeff Hull on the Art and Skill of Delivering Bad News, where they will discuss how to reduce risk in discussing hard topics. Every one of us has to deliver tough news sometimes, and we all know it’s easier to do when we’ve built up enough political capital. But what if you haven’t built those trusted relationships or are in a new role that requires you to be the de facto bearer of bad news? Join Jeffrey Hull as he interviews C-suite coach and ethical culture expert Amii Barnard-Bahn as she shares her practical six-step methodology that will help you and your clients share difficult messages — and get the right results — without damaging political capital. Amii is the bestselling author of the Promotability Index® career self-assessment and companion Guidebook, which Sally Helgesen endorses as "demystifying what makes a person promotable.” The Promotability toolkit has been adopted by the World Bank Group and thousands of leaders and organizations.
