🌍 A Unified Vision for Sustainability Reporting 🌍 Earlier this week, the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) published new guidance materials for recent sustainability-related standards. Taken together, these IAASB and IESBA standards, as well as the new IESBA standard on using the work of experts, provide a unified global approach to address the growing demand for trustworthy sustainability information to support stakeholder decisions. 🌍 Today marks a milestone for sustainability reporting and assurance.   Today, the two IFEA standard-setting boards, International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) launched a unified, integrated effort to support effective implementation of landmark standards that advance trust and transparency in sustainability reporting and assurance. As IAASB Chair Tom Seidenstein and IESBA Chair Gabriela Figueiredo Dias explain in this video, the work is only just beginning.
