Santa and Mrs. Clause came to visit our children! The Maryville Crisis Nursery held its annual Family Holiday Party on Sunday, December 1, at the Center for Children in Chicago. About 70 parents and their children gathered at the Crisis Nursery side of the building to engage in holiday festivities, games, lunch and a visit from Santa! “It was a special day with family, fun, good food and holiday cheer,” Program Director Tricia Fitzgerald said. “The children, even adults, were all smiles making crafts, playing Santa buckets and Bingo, and during their visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.” Santa and Mrs. Claus also visited the Children’s Healthcare Center and dropped off some gifts. Thank you to our Maryville Crisis Nursery staff and volunteers for a successful holiday kick-off! A special shoutout to the volunteers from the National Honor Society of Intrinsic Schools (Downtown campus).
