🌍 Transforming Rehabilitation through Health Policy & Systems Research (HP&SR) 💪 Did you know that 1 in 3 people around us could benefit from rehabilitation services? Unfortunately, many still lack access, especially in low-income areas. 🕵️♂️ HP&SR works like a detective and planner combined. It identifies gaps, proposes solutions, and strives to create healthcare systems where rehabilitation is accessible to all. Together, we can champion HP&SR and build a more inclusive world. Share this post and join the movement to make a difference! #Rehabilitation #HealthPolicy #HealthcareForAll #InclusiveHealth

At the WHO SEARO RC 77 meeting today, 🌍 ISPRM member Dr. Raju Dhakal made the following statement, endorsed by ISPRM and the World Rehabilitation Alliance: 👏 "We applaud the progress on health workforce education in the WHO South-East Asia Region and its emphasis on Universal Health Coverage (UHC). However, to truly achieve UHC, future initiatives must include all rehabilitation professionals—not just doctors, nurses, and midwives. With 1 in 3 people globally in need of rehabilitation, especially in low- and middle-income countries, the demand is only growing. 💪 Rehabilitation is essential for improving independence and function throughout the life course. We urge SEARO/WHO Member States to invest in rehabilitation education and training to ensure equitable access to quality services for all." #WorldRehabilitationAllicance #Rehab2030
