Meet the talented individuals behind Impulse Space’s cutting-edge advancements in in-space transportation — including our avionics technician, Jessica Moro. ⚡️ We recently asked Jessica about her experiences at Impulse, her favorite projects, and what inspired her journey into the space industry. 🌌 Q: What’s one of your favorite projects that you’ve worked on since you’ve been at Impulse? Jessica: I wouldn’t call it a single project, but one of the highlights for me was working hands-on with our Mira vehicle. Helping my coworker Jonny with integration when he needed assistance and knowing that some of the PCBA’s and harnesses I worked on are part of Mira really excites me. Contributing to such a significant mission is an incredible feeling. Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Impulse? Jessica: Working at Impulse brings me so much joy because I get to be involved in a bit of everything — assembling batteries, working with PCBA’s and PCB’s, handling mechanical components, harnessing, integration, even shipping and receiving. The variety keeps things exciting, and knowing that the work I do is making history and going to space is incredibly fulfilling. Q: What inspired you to want to work in the space industry? Jessica: My inspiration for working in the space industry came from my time at SpaceX, where I spent 10 and a half years. I actually started in the kitchen, doing inventory and stocking coffee cups, but I eventually became an apprentice and worked my way up to the technician I am today. Over the years, I not only learned a lot about the industry, but I also developed a deep passion for it. That journey is what led me to where I am now, loving every part of this field. 🌠 Want to work on projects that are transforming space exploration?
