This Labor Day, we want to recognize our facilities workers. We have over 100 facilities workers, with 29 skilled tradesmen including plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, painters, and carpenters. We also have custodial staff and skilled mechanics that work in baggage. What they do is a large part of what keeps the airport going, and we are thankful for all that they do! ✅ 🛠️ #LaborDay

This morning we celebrated the dedication of an F-15 Eagle from the Florida Air National Guard's (FANG) 125th Fighter Wing to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority. Many may not realize this, but FANG has been at JAX since the airport opened in 1968. Before that they were a tenant at Imeson. From Cold War missions to supporting global operations, Aircraft 78-0519 is a symbol of the brave men and women who have made our freedom possible. The aircraft will welcome travelers in its permanent home at the entrance of JAX. An observation area for the public is located across the street and is accessible from our complimentary cell phone lot. The previous installation, Hoy es Hoy, can now be viewed at the Miller Electric Center near the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium.

Demo has officially begun to make way for Concourse B! Once completed, JAX will have six additional gates, more dining options and new lounges for our passengers. #jaxbeyond

Just in time for the July Fourth holiday, Economy Lot 3 is now officially open! The new lot has approximately 800 spaces for travelers, and costs $8/day. If you are traveling this week, we recommend arriving two hours prior to your departure time to find parking, check bags and navigate through security.

Thanks for your help making May 2024 a record-breaking month at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)! Over 720,000 people traveled through JAX last month. This nearly fourteen percent increase from last May makes it not only our busiest May ever, but also our busiest month in history!
