Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Cortland Powers North II is a testament to our client's, Cortland, vision of bringing a hospitality-focused living experience to residents. It is the second phase of an existing apartment community, initially completed in 2018. The community includes a mix of building types that KEPHART strategically placed to overcome the site's challenging topography and maximize residents' views of Pikes Peak. We raised our glasses on Monday to celebrate John Binder, AIA's retirement! It was a bittersweet day here at KEPHART, as John has been such a staple in our office for the last 19 years. Thank you, John, for your countless years of dedication to ensuring that EVERYONE has a well-designed place to live, work, and play. This month, we're excited to introduce you to Jon Webb, one of KEPHART's Director of Studio and Senior Associates! Jon joined KEPHART in 2011 on a contract basis, initially assisting with a project in CAD. He later transitioned to working on townhome projects, eventually assuming the role of Director of Studio. His studio primarily focuses on high-density, urban infill projects. One of Jon's proudest moments at KEPHART was receiving a MAME Award for Best on The Boards Project. He says one of his favorite parts of his job is finding novel solutions to difficult code criteria. Residents at our Northwest Crossing community in Bozeman, Montana, can celebrate the 4th of July in style at the newly opened clubhouse! Designed for our partners at Braxton Development, this highly amenitized community features 336 homes in two- and three-story garden apartments. The 12,000-square-foot resort-style clubhouse features a fitness center, flex spaces for co-working, and a game room with a multi-sport simulator. Our Contract Administration team even got to try it out during their most recent visit! Numerous outdoor amenities are scattered throughout the property, including the pool with a large spa and a zero-entry area for tots, a large cabana with grills and a pizza oven, a fire pit, and an area for lawn games and hammocks. The first apartment building and the clubhouse are open, and completion is anticipated at the end of Q4 in 2024! #WhatsInConstructionWednesday

Did you know the construction industry was ranked second to last in digitization? This lag in technology adoption inspires us to stay on top of the ever-changing technology landscape. Design Technology at KEPHART means using tech not just because it's neat or the latest. It must solve a problem, enhance our workflow, or create efficiencies. We're very intentional about what we use. In this first part of a series, Director of Design Technology Jake Kozlowski explores the various design technologies we utilize. Click on the link below to learn how we use these technologies to bring your envisioned, vibrant community to life. https://lnkd.in/ghZ5umNx

We're celebrating Bike to Work Day at our Denver office today! 🚲 These KEPHART-ians were among some of the 20,000 cyclists expected to trade their cars for bikes for their commute today! The day's primary goal is to promote bicycle commuting and remove thousands of cars from the streets of Denver in favor of more fun, healthy, and environmentally friendly alternatives! It also emphasizes the importance of expanding and improving the bike infrastructure in the Denver region. We enjoyed many stations set up along our routes, picking up goodies like breakfast burritos and coffee, getting bike tune-ups, and more! #BikeToWorkDay2024 #KEPHART #BikeToWorkDayDenver
