Hats off to our incredible Orlando coworkers who spent the morning stocking shelves for United Against Poverty Orlando’s Member Grocery Center. These dedicated team members not only show their professional commitment by building quality projects, but they also show their personal devotion to their communities and to their faiths by helping feed the hungry and by giving a hand up to those in need. 💚 Several times a year, KHS&S-Orlando teams volunteer at Orlando-area not-for-profits that make a difference. Since 2009, United Against Poverty Orlando has been serving what is now known as the working poor by offering food assistance, educational programs, crisis stabilization and workforce training. Congratulations to our own James Daniel on being named a 2024 Tampa Bay Business Journal 40 under 40 honoree!  James, a vice president in our Tampa office, was selected from more than 500 nominations representing some of the most accomplished young professionals throughout Tampa Bay’s business community. This is a super-competitive program, with judges reviewing more than 2,000 pages of submission materials before making their decisions. Congrats to our Orlando project teams on bringing home three awards at the FWCCA 2024 Annual Industry Awards Program! Winning projects include the Evermore Resort Landing & Boathouse, Nami at the Lake Nona Wave Hotel, and Minion Café at Universal Orlando. Projects were selected for their outstanding quality, value, craftsmanship and the building team’s ability to overcome project challenges. The awards were presented July 27th at the FWCCA Annual Convention where team members also tested their luck at the convention’s Casino Royale-themed closing event. Congratulations to all project teams on their well-deserved recognition!
