We’re excited to support the Appaloosa Solar project, the largest co-located solar project in Washington state. Explore below what’s to come with this innovative solution! #KimleyHorn #Solar
Announcing the largest co-located solar project in #Washington. Qcells is thrilled to announce the sale of the 142 MW Appaloosa Solar Project to Puget Sound Energy (PSE), marking a historic moment as the largest co-located solar project in Washington. The Appaloosa Solar project will be located and built on PSE’s existing Lower Snake River Wind Facility. The project utilizes an innovative approach to solve interconnection challenges. This will be the first in the state to leverage existing #interconnection infrastructure from a wind facility to deliver additional renewable energy to serve its #grid needs. This cutting-edge #solar project will power the equivalent of over 30,000 homes annually. With U.S.-manufactured solar panels and Qcells providing complete engineering, procurement, and construction (#EPC) services in addition to developing the project, we’re delivering a turnkey solution that’s a win for both the grid and the local community. Congratulations to everyone who made this milestone possible and helped push the boundaries of what clean energy can do. 🔗Read the full announcement today: https://ow.ly/O6eb50TAcEZ
