This month, we celebrated the grand opening of the Carnegie at Washingtonian Center. This is the culmination of many years of casting vision and hard work. We are so happy to be bringing the Kisco Signature lifestyle to the people of Gaithersburg, MD. Our first residents are moved in and most of the units are already sold. We are very excited for this next chapter! 🥂

Congratulations to Chef Ernest Fong who has been promoted to National Director of Culinary Services - Lifestyle Brand! Ernest started with Kisco a little over 2 years ago as part of our Home Office Operations Team as the Senior Director of Culinary. He grew up on the island of Guam where he learned the art of cooking from his grandparents. They taught the value of good food and the importance of family connections. This background has deeply influenced his approach to senior living dining, where his goal has always been to serve our residents and associates with exemplary experiences that foster meaningful connections and enrich their lives. We are so proud of Kisco's very own Brenda Gurung who was presented with an Everyday Hero Award by The Alzheimer’s Association Colorado and ABC News in Denver. Brenda has volunteered for the Alzheimer’s Association as a Community Educator since 2016 and has presented 222 workshops for families and professionals.
