Events like the recent hurricanes in the Southeast reinforce the importance of climate resiliency planning. Kleinfelder recently provided such services to two award-winning projects in North Carolina — the Lumber River Wetlands Restoration Study and the Lumber River Resilient Roads Study — both of which focus on building resilience in the five-county Lumber River region of North Carolina, which faces repeated flooding and severe hurricanes. Kleinfelder provided climate resiliency planning assessments, stakeholder engagement, and conceptual-level engineering recommendations for both studies. 👉 Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gmPR5dyQ #WeAreKleinfelder #ClimateResiliency #ClimateChange #Planning #Award #PressRelease

Earlier this month, Kleinfelder Western Division Transportation Structures Lead James Frost helped lead a site visit for Autodesk representatives at the San Diego International Airport Terminal 1 Replacement project site, to discuss how we’re using Autodesk products to support the design and construction. The tour was part of the Autodesk University conference held October 15-17 at the San Diego Convention Center. 👉 Check out more photos on our Instagram: https://lnkd.in/gzHfvAjt #WeAreKleinfelder #AU2024 #NewT1
Last week, Autodesk employees had the chance to visit the Terminal 1 project at San Diego International Airport with representatives from Kleinfelder and Vanderlande. We learned about how these companies are developing infrastructure and installing baggage handling systems at the airport, and how they are using Autodesk solutions during that process. Excited to see all this work come to fruition in summer 2025! #construction
