Founded by CEO Han Chen, CFA, ZeaKal enhances plants' photosynthesis, allowing them to produce higher yields, better biomass quality, and use fewer resources like water and fertilizers. ZeaKal has already demonstrated success in crops such as soybeans, improving both protein and oil content. The company is now working to expand its technology across multiple crops and regions, aiming to reduce agriculture’s environmental footprint while increasing food security in a changing climate. What an incredible gathering yesterday at the Bioscience Businesses in LA County event, part of BioscienceLA Week! 💡 Industry leaders gathered to explore and plan for the future of bioscience in the region. A huge thanks to our co-hosts Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC), BioscienceLA and our sponsors: PhRMA, NGUYEN TARBET IP Law, SKYLAR CONSULTING LTD, Turner Construction Company, WittKieffer and LBA Realty.
