I know I said I'd post this morning, but it's been such a whirlwind 24 hours 🥳 🏆 Last night RxPost won top prize in Technology at the Women Founders Network 12th Annual Fast Pitch Event! What made the night particularly special, was being able to share my accomplishments with my mom (first investor) and twin sister (unpaid bookkeeper) Rachel Bagdon who were there in the audience. Yes, that is my mom's voice in the video, both surprised and proud 😂 Congratulations to the winner in the CPG category Stefanie Garcia Turner at TUYYO and the winner of the Junior VC award Adele S. of AI-Learners sponsored by 33 Capital LLC Thank you to my amazing and wonderful pitch coach Dave Whelan who worked tirelessly with me to harness my story telling skills. The competition was extraordinary, with every founder delivering compelling pitches that showcased the incredible talent in our community. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support and dedication of the entire WFN ecosystem - from our distinguished board and advisory members to our expert judges, pitch committee members, coaches, financial mentors, and due diligence analysts. Special thanks to The Price Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, UCLA Anderson School of Management for providing the perfect venue for this inspiring evening. What truly stands out is how everyone united to advance WFN's core mission: empowering women and girls through entrepreneurship and investment education. Through the annual Fast Pitch competition, they're opening doors to non-dilutive capital, increasing visibility, and providing invaluable mentorship for female founders. Their Next Generation Investors program continues to inspire and educate the future generation of women investors and entrepreneurs at both high school and college levels. I have so much appreciation for all the Junior VCs and all their thoughtful questions they had for each founder. People often ask me about where I think the pharmacy industry is going. Just this week, it came up during RxPost pitch practice for Women Founders Network and Pegasus Angel Accelerator. I forget that not everyone's Google news feed and Gmail inbox is constantly flooded with exciting policy updates for our profession, demonstrating our ongoing fight for common sense "test-to-treat" legislation in the state, and nationwide. With expanded prescribing authority and insurance coverage, pharmacists are becoming a crucial "front door" to healthcare. This shift promises to: 🏥 Improve access to care, especially in underserved areas 👩⚕️ Relieve pressure on primary care providers 💊 Enable better chronic disease management While I do think there is some reputational damage to repair, as pharmacists are viewed as under-resourced overworked, I'm hopeful that the recent memory of pharmacists and technicians stepping up as frontline heroes to provide 2/3 of all COVID-19 vaccines during the height of the pandemic lays the foundation for patients to see pharmacy professionals in a new light. #HealthcareInnovation #Pharmacy #CommunityHealth #Forbes

Founders interviewing founders 🥰 Now that I officially kicked off my raise, it's only natural to think about the progress I've made since my first introduction into the 'startup scene' at LA Tech Week last year. I think a lot about the advice I've received from so many amazing founders who have come before me, and how I've been able to pass the advice on to the new incoming class. And while it is often difficult to discern between relevant vs irrelevant advice, you only get better at filtering through what's applicable to you and your company, at your stage, through the sheer volume of meaningful connections you make. We have so much opportunity here in Los Angeles, and the other major startup hubs, to learn from each other. I'm so grateful to have found such a caring and knowledgeable community of marketplace experts to help guide me through the process. It's so amazing to see the growth of the community! This opportunity to represent our California pharmacy community at the national level is both humbling and exciting! Our election was part of a weekend filled with unity and progress, as approximately 100 delegates came together to shape the future of pharmacy in California.
