🔔 We are HIRING! We are looking for an Operations and Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team based out of both our Dallas and Fort Worth offices. As an Operations Engineer, you’ll manage and monitor infrastructure renewal campaigns and new construction projects during the operations phase of our three highway projects. You’ll work closely with our COOs, managers, engineers, and external parties to ensure optimal lifecycle renewal and new construction works. Some Key Responsibilities: • Infrastructure Maintenance: Analyze current conditions of each asset to determine their life expectancy and manage required CAPEX works. • Project Management: Prepare lane closures, review work plans, and coordinate other maintenance activities. Our team recently sponsored and participated in the Infrastructure Summit, an event organized by the City of Irving and the North Texas Commission. Over two days, the expert panels discussed infrastructure challenges like water, energy, highways, transit and economic development. We also joined in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of North Central Texas Council of Governments’ Regional Transportation Council. The North Tarrant Express (NTE) and 35W managed lane corridors were recognized as one of the top achievements of the past two decades in fighting congestion and creating economic growth. Robert Hinkle, Director of Corporate Affairs for NTE Mobility Partners, moderated a keynote panel on highway infrastructure with Texas Department of Transportation colleagues Brian Barth, Deputy Executive Director, along with Ceason Clemens and David Salazar, District Engineers for Dallas and Fort Worth. While highlighting the success of the NTE, Texas’ first Public Private Partnership highway project, Hinkle directed a conversation about the current Unified Transportation Plan and projects being prioritized across the North Texas region and connectivity with the rest of the State. In October, the NTE will reach a 10 year milestone in corridor operations. During the past decade, 175 million trips have been made on the NTE, an average of 220,000 each day across all lanes. Right now, capacity is being added to the NTE in order to maintain the congestion relief and improved mobility that has been achieved through regional collaboration. #publicprivatepartnership #mobilitysolutions #p3 #northtexas

Last week, some of our employees attended the IBTTA Maintenance, Engineering, and Roadway Operations Workshop, in Fort Myers, Florida. This event, spanning two days, brings together leaders in the toll industry to discuss innovations in maintenance, engineering, and roadway operations. Operations Manager of TEXpress Lanes, kartheek Shanmukhappa, was among the panelists in an Asset Management session. His presentation highlighted the strategic use of technology to enhance the lifespan and performance of infrastructure assets. “The presentation garnered a lot of positive feedback. Lots of people approached me after with additional questions. It feels great knowing that our asset management tool can be of value to our colleagues in their operations,” said Kartheek. Events like this workshop are pivotal for industry leaders to remain informed about the evolving trends and practices within the tolling and transportation sectors.
