Infusion center scheduling is no small challenge—it requires balancing chair availability, nurse shifts, and fluctuating demand, all while managing incredible complexity. The solution for effective schedule optimization is in a data science-driven approach. When decision-making is backed by data, infusion leaders can level-load schedules and unlock capacity, all while keeping the needs and goals of the center in focus. During #LeanTaaSTransform, I joined my colleague Hugh Cassidy to discuss this data-driven approach and to share a preview of upcoming iQueue for Infusion Centers features designed to enhance scheduling, streamline operations, and improve workforce planning through smarter tools. • Our Chief Technology Officer, Tim Vasil, recently joined Tarlochan Gill on the CTO Confessions podcast for an insightful discussion on leading and empowering high-performance teams, building products that matter, creating a human-centric culture, fostering trust and giving feedback, and knowing when to step back and delegate. "It's almost like being an artist and crafting something from nothing that is so rewarding, especially to see in the hands of the customers. Equally, if not more rewarding, is working with a team and seeing them grow to accomplish the same sorts of things." 💡 Want to hear more about Tim's leadership style and his approach to effectively leading in tech? • Want to know how UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center lowered infusion wait times by 31% during peak hours? Here is their story: Maintaining a dual mission of clinical care and innovative research, UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center diagnoses about 6,500 cancer patients annually and sees 100,000 patient visits. In just one year, the health system saw a 21% growth in its infusion treatment volumes, leading to operational challenges with capacity, long patient wait times, and staff satisfaction. To optimize scheduling and improve capacity management, leadership deployed iQueue for Infusion Centers at one of its locations. Now armed with AI-powered technology and an expert team of infusion optimization experts, the center transitioned from a roller coaster of slow mornings and evenings and midday peaks to an even, balanced workload throughout the day. This shift helped lower wait times for patients and improved ability to accommodate unexpected delays and add-on appointments. After seeing these significant results, they expanded it to four additional centers. 💡 Read more about their journey to infusion center optimization in the full case study here: https://bit.ly/49JTjuD

Healthcare innovator building and scaling companies in partnership with health systems on behalf of patients and the clinicians who serve them

Modern perioperative management is far too complex for manual and outdated processes to keep up. At #LeanTaaSTransform, I explored the growing pressures facing healthcare systems—rising demand, staffing shortages, and shrinking reimbursements—and why traditional tools and dashboards often fall short of addressing these complexities. The solution lies in something far more innovative: AI-powered capacity management and optimization. At LeanTaaS, we help our customers solve these challenges with AI-powered solutions that use advanced mathematics and predictive analytics to uncover inefficiencies, reduce service cycle times, and make smarter, real-time decisions that improve cost, quality, and staff satisfaction simultaneously. Our tools consistently deliver predictions that are more accurate than EHRs for 100% of our customers. During Transform, I joined our CEO, Mohan Giridharadas, to showcase how innovative technology is driving real results across perioperative systems.
