Meet Steve Berenfeld. Lennar has always been a part of Steve’s life. Growing up, he would ride his bike past Lennar’s headquarters in Miami, FL. Steve says that “Working at Lennar is the only job I’ve had.” From writing to graphic design, Steve has played an instrumental role in shaping what makes Lennar unique. After graduating college, he joined an advertising agency in Miami, where he worked closely with Lennar on both internal and external initiatives. During his time at the agency, Steve worked with Divisions nationwide with marketing materials and helped create some of the key elements of Lennar’s culture, including the iconic Lennar fight song. In 2004, Steve had the opportunity to officially join Lennar as a full-time Associate as a Creative Director. His early years at the Company were spent fostering and spreading its cultural values while marketing Lennar and its Everything’s Included® brand Over the past two decades, Steve has advanced, moving from Director of Brand Marketing to Sr. Director of Branding and Creative. In 2022 he was promoted to VP of Branding and Creative, where he contributed to numerous communications and marketing efforts related to national sales events, acquisitions, new product launches, and the Lennar News Network (LNN), among others. In 2024, Steve became VP of Internal Creative. Steve has a deep trust in Lennar, believing the Company always does the right thing for the right reasons. This belief is central to his commitment to the Company, knowing that Lennar consistently prioritizes doing things well and with integrity. The Company’s investment in its Associates is a major factor in fostering long-term career growth. Throughout his career, Steve has contributed to countless initiatives over the years that have enhanced the brand, both internally and externally. His creativity, quick wit, and collaborative spirit make him a joy to work with. Steve’s dedication and hard work is felt across the country. Congrats, Steve! Fun Fact – Steve enjoys performing in local musical theatre productions and singing his favorite Beatles tunes whenever he gets the chance.
