Giving was embedded in Bill’s DNA. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. His family and community are in a much better place because of his selfless contributions. Gerri, Bill’s wife, finds peace knowing that his last act of giving has saved two lives – including a grandfather of 12 who will continue to enjoy precious moments with his family, just as Bill would have wanted. “I sincerely thank you for your decision to donate this special kidney,” the grandfather wrote to Bill’s family. “It has certainly changed my life for the better.” As we honor grandparents on this special day, we are truly grateful for Bill’s generosity of organ donation, as well as the countless donor heroes who provide healing every day. Have you been following the launch of our newest bone void filler, PliaFX® Pak? These packable demineralized fibers and chips are incredibly versatile.
